1st International Conference

During 5-6 October 2023, the 1st conference dedicated to SEM of corrosion cast of vascular and tubular structures will be held in Tbilisi that is organized by the Alexandre Natishvili Institute of Morphology, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU).

Abstracts of the conference will be published in the TSU Journal “Translational and Clinical Medicine – Georgian Medical Journal”, indexed in Google Scholar and EBSCO. The conference will be supported by TSU Television “Universia“, telecompany “Pulse TV” and Tbilisi branch of Academia Europaea.

  • Preparation of vascular corrosion casts of different organs of small laboratory animals (incl. rat preparation)
  • Specimen preparation for SEM (cleaning, maceration, freeze-drying, mounting – conductive bridge method, coating)
  • Stereophotogrammetry – digital image acquisition of stereopairs from the SEM and generation of anaglyphic 3D-images
